“I was just working as a professional initially where I advised parents and conducted therapies for children. However, I realized with time that there was a missing element and that was training the parents & understanding the atmosphere at home for the better long-term development of the child. This is how I came up with Kids Parents and Us where I focus on each child’s unique needs along with my fellow consultant Ashna Lahoty to bring out the best of the child & their mental well-being.” says the founder.

The service brand is exceptionally unique in terms of handling the child with all the therapy rendered online comfortably at home only. On the parents part, an initial familiarization with the problem, and family atmosphere is required post which the counseling and training part goes in.

Talking about her inspiration to launch the brand, Runjhun mentions that she was always passionate about her work as an occupational therapist, but her motherhood journey taught her to be more empathetic and that was the turning point of her professional life. She often came across parents who needed guidance, as time scarcity, work pressure, or responsibility of another child barred them from making an emotional connection with their child.

As most of the parents could not meet in a physical space and hailed from other countries too like Australia, Bangladesh, U.K, etc, the online program and therapy through mail and videos proved to be of immense help to parents and met with good response. As a step further, Runjhun finally decided to launch the utilitarian service brand on the digital platform too.
